10% Acne Med
A highly effective water-based gel containing benzoyl peroxide that penetrates the pore where it fights acne-causing bacteria helps unclog pores and keeps them from clogging.
SKIN TYPES:
- 2.5%: Appropriate for dry and mature skin types.
- 5%: Appropriate for normal and oily skin types.
- 10%: Appropriate for oily skin types.
After cleansing and toning, apply a thin layer to the entire blemish-prone area. We recommend using Acne Med in the evening. Leave on for 15 to 30 minutes a day initially, and increase wearing time gradually until medication can be tolerated all night. Slight irritation and dryness are normal and temporary.
Traditional moisturizers cannot be used under or over benzoyl peroxide. They interfere with efficacy and cause the Acne Med to travel into the eye area. Those that need extra hydration in the PM should use a water-based hydrating gel or serum under your Acne Med. Do not apply products on top of your Acne Med.
If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use of the product and contact your Face Reality Acne Specialist immediately.
